today we’re launching Ageospatial (YC F26). we price the risk of every property, infrastructure and land on Earth from satellites. some of the largest organizations in Insurance, Banking and Government are already using it.

problem

  • insurers cover buildings, land and infrastructure they've never seen

  • 97% of commercial properties are never inspected. it's too slow and too expensive to send someone

  • so insurers rely on what they're told: forms filled in by owners and brokers, and half the time, at least one key information is wrong

  • wrong info means wrong prices, fraud, and billions of $$$ lost. insured disaster losses passed $100B in 2025. in the US alone, insurers lose $36B a year to underpriced policies

what we do

  • give us a list of addresses, type one in, or click anywhere on the map

  • our AI reads satellite images, street-view, maps, public records, internal and live data

  • for each asset it tells you: what it really is, what hazards surround it, what changed, and whether it's worth inspecting

  • every asset gets a record that updates over time, and those records make the AI better at finding other risky ones

  • we set it up inside the insurer's systems with our own engineers, so they get outcomes without hiring anyone

who am I, Maaz

  • I grew up in social housing, and maps were my way to represent and create a different reality. I've been making maps since I was 6.

  • this became my superpower, ‘a spatial memory’: I spot patterns in physical space extremely fast, and I can draw the world map from memory very accurately

  • top 100 globally on GeoGuessr (you're dropped somewhere on Google Street View and have to guess where you are)

  • as a teen I modded games (milsim, minecraft, grand strategy) with location data and made money from the mods

  • started Geomatics Engineering (CS + Geography) at 17

  • hired at 19 to support decisions during wars and disasters using satellite imagery, on some of the largest crises of our time

  • lived in a container at -22°F in the Arctic, using drone imagery to test whether food can grow in the polar region

  • freelanced for large clients in insurance, energy and government

you can help if

  • you insure, own or operate physical assets: we'll run a simulated version of your portfolio in a live demo

  • you know someone who does: an intro would be appreciated!
